Start by using fare comparison tools like Google Flights, Skyscanner, or Hopper. Be flexible with dates—midweek departures are often cheaper—and consider nearby airports. Book 1–3 months in advance for domestic, and 2–6 months for international. Set up price alerts and browse in incognito mode to avoid dynamic pricing. Flying budget airlines or mixing-and-matching one-way tickets can also save money. From my travels, the best deals usually come when you’re flexible, alert, and quick to book when a good fare pops up.
